Threats and Alerts Chart

This quick chart details the conditions each alert indicates.

THREATS

TRAFFIC

1  This would be As Good As It Gets (AGAIG) 1  This would be As Good As It Gets (AGAIG)
2  The new threats do not seem to be growing and there are patches for what we know 2 There are some issues that are slowing down the Internet
3  There is definite threat traffic and updates should be applied 3  There are major issues effecting speed and routing
4  This is a Serious Situation and access to the Internet should be restricted 4  Traffic is slow and erratic and you can not trust the address you have been directed to to be that address

I may also increase or decrease levels by gradient (ie. 3 down to 2.5 or vice versa) to indicate how I am leaning.  Each day and throughout the day I monitor a variety of public and private resources to get a "feel" of what activity may be significant.  For those who want a more detailed accounting you can email me and I will try to direct you to where you can find more information.

Arrows indicate the movement from a previous setting. A straight bar indicates I have updated and kept that value so no change is indicated.
